Mounira Al Hmoud is a graduate student in Journalism at Boston University. She covers government and politics from Beacon Hill for The MetroWest Daily News and is the correspondent in Boston for France-Amerique, a French magazine published in the U.S. She is a graduate of The American University of Paris, where she majored in Global Communications and Politics and written for her college newspapers. Neal J. Riley is a senior at Boston University, studying journalism and politics. He has reported for The Boston Globe and The Worcester Telegram & Gazette. Neal recently studied abroad in Dublin where he interned at Hot Press, an arts and culture magazine known as “The Rolling Stone of Ireland.” He has also served as editor-in-chief at The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper, where he covered the 2009 mayoral and city council election in Boston. Rick Sobey is a print journalism senior at Boston University. He is from Wilbraham, MA, and he has interned at weekly publications close to home, including The Reminder and Wilbraham-Hampden Times. He has also interned for Gatehouse Media near Boston. He has been published on the Boston Globe Your Town websites. Most recently, he freelanced for AOL/ Patch.com in Manchester, CT and in Boston. Steven Graff is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He received a B.A. inEnglish from UCLA in 1996, and taught English in a public high schoolfor 14 years before coming to Boston University to pursue an MS inBroadcast Journalism. Steven’s area of focus is politics, but hisinterests include the arts and sciences as well. He is a singer andsongwriter, with over 100 copyrighted songs to his name so far. Tara Jayakar is a second-semester senior studying English and Journalism at BU. She currently works as the Statehouse correspondent for the Cape Cod Times, and writes about legislation and government issues facing the Cape and Islands as a contributing writer.
