Almost sure well-posedness for some dispersive initial value problems (Gigliola Staffilani - MIT)

In this talk I will give a short history and some new results concerning the well-posedness of certain initial value problems at super critical regularity. This line of research started with the work of Bourgain in the late 90s, who proved the invariance of the Gibbs measure for certain periodic nonlinear Schrodinger equations. and has developed into an extremely successful subfield of PDE.
