Title: Irreversibility, Entropy Production, and Fluctuations. Absract: In the past 15 years there has been a number of results on the structure on non-equilibrium steady states in statistical mechanics models. From a mathematical point of view non-equilibrium means lacks of time-reversibility or lack of detailed balance. In this talk we will explain which kind of general results one can obtain for irreversible (Markov or deterministic) processes and illustrate these results with a number of physical examples.
