Facilities and Equipment
SSW IT manages IT equipment for SSW offices, class, computer and meeting rooms.
Rooms
SSW 217 – Conant Lounge
The School’s main meeting facility is equipped with a projector which can display data from the stationary laptop or DVD/VHS combo unit in the southwest corner of the room. The combo unit, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse for the laptop can be accessed using a key obtained from the main reception area, SSW 208.
SSW 121 – Classroom
The School’s classroom is equipped with a projector which can display data from the stationary laptop or DVD/VHS combo unit located in the podium below the laptop.
SSW B33 – Computer Room
The School of Social Work Computer Lab is located in SSW B33 (In the basement of 270 Bay State Road).
Equipment
Digital Sender
The School has an HP 9250c Digital Sender in SSW 208 (main office). It can be used to scan and send documents to the server. They can also be sent via email from the sender (not recommended).
Digital Video Camera
The School has a JVC HD Everio HD Hard Disk Camcorder. This video camera can be reserved by Faculty and Staff with access to Exchange Calendars.
TV/DVD/VHS Cart
The School has a rolling cart with a TV and DVD/VHS combo unit available to be reserved by Faculty and Staff with access to Exchange Calendars. This unit is self-service and the key can be obtained from the front desk in the second-floor main office.
