Working in the World
Our graduates enter the social work profession with the knowledge, skills, and values to address the needs and potential of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. The most common areas of practice of our graduates are mental health or community mental health settings, child welfare, family services, and community organizing. Many of our graduates are in clinical and macro social work leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels. Students who graduate from our dual degree and specialization programs enter the world of work with knowledge and skills to work effectively across professional disciplines.
