Boston GEM Consortium
Field Placements
Field Placement Model
Each student has a Primary Placement in one of the participating Consortium Agencies and an Enrichment Experience in a second Consortium Agency. The Enrichment Experience typically consists of co-leading a group or participating in a development, research or needs assessment project. These two placement experiences are designed to complement each other and together provide each student with the opportunity to master a wide range of competencies in working with older adults, their families and their provider systems.
