GEM agencies in the Consortium are the following:
- BOSTON UNIVERSITY GERIATRIC SERVICES (BUGS): Boston University's home based interdisciplinary medical service for home bound urban elders. This program is a multidisciplinary training program for health professionals.
Field Instructor: Ellen Harrington - BOSTON HOUSING AUTHORITY (BHA): Boston's public housing agency serving low income city residents of all ages with specialized services for elderly and disabled tenants. BHA has developed nationally recognized health promotion and specialized housing programs including housing for grandparents raising grandchildren.
Field Instructor: Al Davis - HEARTH - HOME FOR GOOD: Agency providing outreach, housing and social services to homeless elders. HEARTH offers independent and assisted living options throughout the city.
Field Instructors: Debbi Cutler/Dawn Matchett - HALE BARNARD SERVICES FOR OLDER PEOPLE (H.B. SVCS): Agency offers residential and support services as an alternative to institutional care for a diverse population of older adults
Field Instructor: Barbara Hopcroft - THE INSTITUTE FOR GERIATRIC SOCIAL WORK (IGSW): Boston University's nationally recognized policy, training and research institute, providing innovative training opportunities for practicing social workers to meet the needs of the growing population of older adults and their families.

- JEWISH COMMUNITY HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY (JCHE): Independent housing for older adults. Social and health services are provided on site to a diverse population of long term community residents and new immigrants.

- KIT CLARK SENIOR SERVICES: Multi-service community agency providing mental health and substance abuse services, day and drop in programs and outreach to immigrant elders.
Field Instructors: Joe Francis/Jim Lavash - UPHAMS CORNER HEALTH CENTER, ELDER SERVICE PLAN: Day health program providing coordinated health and social services to frail elders living in the community.
Field Instructor: Susan Cavanaugh - THE BROOKLINE CENTER: The Brookline Center offers a wide variety of behavioral health and counseling services for people of all ages and backgrounds. Serving the community for over 45 years, our mission is to help people in emotional distress to feel better, function more effectively, and experience life more fully.

- THE BROOKLINE COUNCIL ON AGING: A town department, responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive services for Brookline residents age 60 and over. The council works with other town agencies and community service providers to enhance the quality of life for Brookline elders.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY COMPULSIVE HOARDING PROJECT: Boston University, School of Social Work's studies of the nature and treatment of compulsive hoarding are funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and provide clinical treatment, research, resource information, training and supervision for individuals with compulsive hoarding, their families, human service agency personnel and treating clinicians.

These agencies represent a broad spectrum of services to older people, and serve an inner-city population within contiguous neighborhoods in Boston.
