- Dr. Judith G. Gonyea is the elected chair of the Social Research, Practice and Policy Section of the Gerontological Society of America and a recipient of the National Leadership Award from the AGE-SW Society.
- Dr. Robert B. Hudson is former President of the Massachusetts Gerontology Association and is the editor of Public Policy & Aging Report, a publication of the National Academy of an Aging Society.
- Dr. Scott Miyake Geron is Director of the Institute for Geriatric Social Work (IGSW), a national center dedicated to improving the quality of practice to older adults through training, research and policy.
