Travel Advisory

On Sunday, May 22, portions of Memorial Drive and Massachusetts Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. because of a benefit road race supporting wounded US veterans.  Graduates and families traveling to Boston University for morning convocations should use Storrow Drive or the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Caps and Gowns

Caps and gowns are available at the Boston University Barnes & Noble, at the fourth floor Cap and Gown Counter during regular books business hours. Current cost is $113. For shipping information contact the Cap and Gown Office at 617-236-7401.

Students borrowing a gown should purchase cap, hood and tassel from Barnes & Noble.

Disability Services

Handicapped parking will be available throughout Commencement Weekend, May 20–22, without reservation or special pass for guests attending a school/college convocation or other commencement-related event. More information is available on the Commencement Disability Services page.
