Project Description:
This national evaluation is designed to evaluate federal efforts
in the area of child welfare training and to develop recommendations
to further child welfare training at federal, state, and local levels.
The project has four components: 1) Multiple case study of nine federally
funded training projects; 2) Comprehensive review of the child welfare
training literature; 3) Survey of state training directors regarding
training efforts in their states; 4) Survey of faculty regarding participation
in child welfare training activities.
