REMINDER:
All students in the field should be evaluated by their field instructor. The forms were mailed to the agency and are due in the Field Ed office TODAY, Dec. 7.
If the agency did not receive the form, the student can pick up a copy from the Field Ed office or print a form from the Field Ed web page. Although they are due this week, we ask that the form not be faxed since they are often incomplete or illegible.
Final date at which we should receive the form is Dec. 20th.
Please remember to make a copy for yourself and your faculty advisor as well.

Limit your personal environmental impact: http://www.catalogchoice.org
National Wildlife Federation and National Resources Defense Council and others have started a new on-line consumer service called Catalog Choice giving people the choice of which catalogs you will receive
(and which catalogs you wish to stop).
Paper use has a huge impact on the environment - and catalog printing and mailing is a huge part of that. Each year, 19 billion catalogs are mailed to American consumers. This uses 53 million trees (between 300,000 and 500,000 acres of land cleared or thinned) and comprises 7.2 billion pounds of paper. Processing and transporting this paper results in 5.2 billion pounds of carbon dioxide emissions which equals the annual emissions of two million cars. It also requires 53 billion gallons of fresh water.

Support Community Health & eat pie!
I am a first year student here at BUSSW. This spring I am running the Boston Marathon for Team Brigham. My goal is to earn at least $3000 all of which will go towards community health programs in the greater Boston area. In order to raise money I am selling homemade pies. How it works, you make a tax-deductible donation to Team Brigham and in return I give you a delicious pie made from scratch (my specialties are pumpkin, pecan, and chocolate cream)! Please check out my fundraising page
( http://www.firstgiving.com/sarahhauke ) and email me at sehauke@gmail.com if you have any questions or are interested. I can't wait to cook for all of you!!!

SSW Q & A
- Q. Can I audit a course at SSW?
- A. Yes, first register for the course and then get permission from the instructor to audit. You can request to audit a class anytime before the 5th week of class. You will not get credit for an audited class but will be charged for it (FT students pay the normal tuition fee). To audit fill out a Course Adjustment form that can be found on the Student Services’ rack outside room 117A or, go to our webpage http://www.bu.edu/ssw/ , look under ‘current students’, then, “Student Handbook.” At the end of the handbook you will find this and various other forms.
