The Writing Fellow
Yvette Anderson
As the Writing Fellow, I will provide assistance to any student in the SSW who needs help with her/his academic writing tasks. For many students this means help only in editing a final draft of a paper. For others, organizing the content and using appropriate style and grammar are problems. I am available to assist at any step of the writing process—from tips on effective reading and note taking to the final draft.

I am available to help off-campus students with their writing
assignments by scheduled telephone consultation:
- E-mail your papers and fax or e-mail your assignments two days before you would like to schedule a telephone appointment.
- Include a telephone number and a time you can be reached so that I can call you to schedule the telephone consultation. Also, give me a fax number where I can fax back your paper with corrections/suggestions.
The telephone consultation will focus on correction/comments and should
not take longer than 30 minutes. (Remember that consultations can be scheduled
only during office hours on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.)
