Refunds
If you have a credit balance once your account is settled you may complete and submit a Credit Release Voucher form to the SSW Financial Assistance Office. We will begin processing refund requests starting the first day of classes. Refunds generally take 7 to 11 days to process once the funds are in your account. You may pick up a Credit Release Voucher form at the SSW Financial Aid Office or put your request in writing, including your name, Boston University ID Number, and your address.
Student Advances
If your loan has been processed, but the funds have not been credited to your student account, you may receive a student advance against the pending credit. You may request a form for a Student Advance at the SSW Financial Assistance Office beginning the first day of classes for the semester. Your Federal Direct Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note and the Entrance Counseling requirement must be completed and on file before any funds are released.
