Credit Based Loans

Credit-Based Loans

Credit-based loans provide supplemental assistance to students to help pay direct and indirect educational expenses. Students apply for credit-based loans directly with lenders.  Students may use any lender of their choice without penalty whether or not that lender is identified here or in other University materials. Approval is not dependent on calculated need, but the applicant and/or co-applicant must meet credit and other eligibility requirements set by lenders.  We encourage students to compare information concerning credit-based loans carefully.
