MSW Financial Aid
The School of Social Work’s financial aid resources include scholarship funds, Federal Work-Study, Federal Perkins Loans, subsidized and unsubsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loans, and other private funds.
Awards are based on merit/academic performance, demonstrated need, and the availability of funds. Available funds do not allow us to provide assistance to all students; however, many receive partial support and avail themselves to the various loan programs to further finance their education. If you wish to be considered for merit scholarships, you should submit your online application, which includes the application for financial aid, as early as possible.
The University and the School of Social Work assume that all students will contribute financially to their graduate education. Students are always encouraged to explore outside funding sources.
