This program was established in 1982 at the University of Massachusetts—Dartmouth, and moved to the Fall River Professional and Continuing Education Center in 2004.
- Students find this part-time program a flexible alternative.
- The program allows students to manage job and/or family responsibilities while being enrolled in a MSW program at a renowned university.
- Classes are held on weekends, while internships in the second and third years are scheduled on weekdays.
- Internships are available within the students' own communities.
- Students attending the Fall River campus live in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
