Tutoring and Writing Resources
A writing workshop is offered to off-campus students during the fall semester.
The Writing Fellow Yvette Anderson
- Available at the Charles River Campus for those students able to come to Boston.
- Telephone appointments: call 617-353-3750 and ask for the writing fellow.
- Make arrangements to fax (617-353-5612) or e-mail a draft of the paper to yander@bu.edu.
- Office Hours are Monday: 11:00-2:00; Tuesday: 12:00-4:00; and Wednesday: 11:00-2:00 from September to May
- Telephone consultation will focus on corrections/comments and should not take longer than 30 minutes.
- The writing fellow is available to assist at any step of the writing process from tips on effective reading and note taking to the final draft.
Individual Tutoring Services
- Individual tutoring services are provided for students who have demonstrated a need.
- Referrals can be made by faculty, faculty advisors, or requested by students.
- OCP tutors are graduates of the program.
- Up to 10 hours per academic year free of charge.

Education Resource Center (ERC)
Located in Boston on the Charles River Campus, the ERC provides academic support programs to the Boston University community.
