Off-Campus Weekend Programs
Campus Information
Fall River
The program is held at the UMass Dartmouth Professional and Continuing Education Center in Fall River. Parking is available in the Pearl St parking lot with a pass or along the street. Students and faculty still have use of the UMass Dartmouth Library. Reserve materials for your courses are put on reserve in our BUSSW Resource Room/SSW Office on the second floor. Here you will find the student mailboxes.

Building Hours
The Fall River facility is open at the following times:
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Sunday Closed
The building is closed on all observed holidays.
Parking
Parking is available in the Pearl Street parking lot or along the street. Please do NOT park in the garage on Friday nights.
Smoking Policy
The UMass Dartmouth Professional and Continuing Education Center is a smoke-free facility.
Cellular Telephone And Pagers
Cellular telephones and pagers are distracting during a class. Please turn off cellular telephone and pagers while in classroom or switch them to a "vibrate mode".
Emergencies
In case of an emergency at the UMass Dartmouth Professional and Continuing Education Center in Fall River, the in-class telephone is directed to campus security and School of Social Work students should notify the security staff. In addition, please be sure to leave a message for the SEMA Director at 617-353-3766.
Mailboxes
Each student has a mailbox located outside of the BUSSW Resource Room/SSW Office on the second floor. Please check your mailbox before and after each class; this is a crucial communication link between you and the school.
Mail-Out Request
If you will not be attending off-campus classes in a given semester, you must notify the SEMA Director in writing, before the semester begins. You will be placed on the mail-out list for that semester. If you wish to continue on the list for more than one semester, we will need a note from you each semester you wish to stay on the list.
Classrooms
Classes are usually held on the second floor of the Fall River Center.
Dress
Comfortable, informal attire is generally appropriate at the campus
