Field placement assignments are made by the OCP administration in consultation with the OCP faculty advisors.
Assignments are based on an educational assessment of the student's learning goals and needs, work and volunteer experience, educational background, and career aspirations.
Students are oriented to the field placement process through the Integrative Seminars.
All students have the opportunity to interview at the agency before the field placement is finalized.
Students entering the advanced year in the field take a more active role in selecting the type of setting for their advanced placements.
