Beth Flanzbaum, LICSW
Tyngsboro Campus Faculty Advisor
Ms. Flanzbaum joined SSW in 2006 as a faculty advisor for the Tyngsboro campus in 2006. She has served as a field instructor for social work interns since 1984. In October 2007 she received the Heart of Social Work Award-North American Task Force for Field Education. She received her MSW from Simmons College School of Social Work in 1982.
Ms. Flanzbaum is the Assistant Director of the Family Centers at Y.O.U., Inc. (Youth Opportunities Upheld, Inc.) in Worcester, MA. She joined the staff of Y.O.U., Inc. in 1989 where she provides services to children, adolescents and families. In addition to her clinical work, Ms. Flanzbaum coordinates the social work training program at Y.O.U., Inc., supervises clinical staff, manages several outpatient programs, and co-teaches a family therapy seminar for graduate interns at Y.O.U., Inc.
