Field Education
Field education at Boston University School of Social Work is a dynamic and integral part of students' experience in which they learn through hands-on practice with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
- Students learn and practice social work skills in a wide range of urban settings.
- The School is affiliated with over 500 agencies in New England so students have internships that closely meet their interests in a particular population, social problem, or field of practice.
- Field experiences support students' professional goals through varied assignments and attentive supervision.
