Mr. Schulman joined the School in 1979 as an adjunct faculty member and assumed the position of Director of Admissions & Financial Aid in 1986. He was promoted to Assistant Dean for Enrollment Services & Alumni Relations in 1989 and to Associate Dean for Enrollment Services & External Relations in 1995. His current responsibilities include overseeing the School’s admissions and financial aid department, as well as direct work in public and alumni relations and development. Since receiving his MSW from Boston College in 1977, Mr. Schulman has been involved in clinical social work, community organization, administration, planning, research, and teaching. As an adjunct associate professor he has taught courses in the School on oppression and racism, social work practice, social services in Cuba, and progressive social work practice.
