Faculty Search: African American Studies Program at Boston University-Assistant Professor
The African American Studies Program at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position, beginning July 2015, pending Provost approval. We seek a colleague suitable for joint appointment in any of the discipline(s) of Anthropology, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, or Social Work whose research and teaching focus on the African American experience, with particular emphasis on North America in the contemporary period. Candidates with complementary interests in and appreciation for the international and comparative dimensions of African American life are especially encouraged to apply. Areas of specialization within disciplines are open.

Candidates must have completed all requirements for the PhD before September 1, 2015.
