Tenured and Tenure Track Faculty Openings for Fall 2014
The Boston University School of Social Work invites applications for 2 open faculty positions. We seek candidates with teaching skills and research/scholarly expertise in the following areas:
- Macro Practice (Associate Professor with tenure) with expertise in community organizations, administration, management and/or related areas.
- Social Welfare Policy (Assistant Professor, tenure-track)

Special areas of expertise within the school include community organizing, planning and management, health and mental health, aging, children and youth, trauma and families, substance abuse, and public health social work. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent and show evidence of strong teaching and research skills and a record of publication appropriate for the position sought. Candidates for the tenured Associate Professor position in macro practice should have a strong track record of research, publications and grants, and a record of practice with communities and/or organizations.
