Ultra-Brief CBT for Panic Disorder
The length of time to a treatment response - five weeks, 12 weeks, or 52 weeks - is the timeline of emotional suffering. This is true for the patient in treatment and is also apt for the broader family of people affected by a psychiatric disorder. The focus of this course will be on provision of an ultra-brief cognitive-behavioral treatment for panic disorder, including interventions that are meaningful, memorable, and lead to rapid change to patients in need. Clinical interventions will be exemplified and related to broader models of disorders and disorder offset.
