Sustaining Early Childhood Mental Health Systems of Care in Pediatric Health Homes

The prevention, early identification, and linkage to patient centered, coordinated, comprehensive services, and supports for infants and children at risk for and with mental health conditions is critical. Access to early childhood mental health services is important for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. This project aims to: a) develop strategies to maximize reimbursement for pediatric medical homes, and b) develop a business case for a comprehensive coordinated system of care in a future environment that is presumed to involve reimbursement for a defined set of bundled primary health services.
