Info Session: Post-Graduate Fellowship in International Public Health Nutrition.

  • Starts: 1:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2016
  • Ends: 2:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2016
This paid fellowship aims to bridge the gap between academia and first-time international field placements for students interested in humanitarian aid, public health, and nutrition in a global setting. Funded by USAID, the 2016-2017 fellowship will bring together eight fellows for an intensive four-week training on the core competencies of public health nutrition and humanitarian aid. The fellows will then continue their learning while spending eleven months working in an international public health nutrition program run by the international NGO, Action Against Hunger. During this 11-month period, they will continue to attend workshops to further their professional development, and their transition to a professional field-based position will be aided through a structured mentorship program. The application period is open from January 15th to February 15th, 2016. More information is available on the I-PHN fellowship website at www.iphn-fellowship.org. Please RSVP at the link if you plan to attend the session.
