Welcome Mahogany Price to Graduate Student Life

July 11th, 2016

Dear SPH Community,

The Graduate Student Life office is very excited to welcome Mahogany Price to our team today, Monday, July 11, 2016. Mahogany is taking on the role of Program Manager for Student Mentoring and comes to us from Brown University where she was the Community Director in the Office of Residential Life. She holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the State University of New York, Buffalo State where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication.

Mahogany’s experience in supporting students will serve as a wonderful asset in her new role as the Program Manager for Student Mentoring. In this role, she will manage the Core Course Tutoring, Public Health Writing and Public Health Presentation Skills Programs. Mahogany will also oversee the launch of our new Alumni/Student Mentoring Program, conduct training sessions for our Teaching Assistants and Graders and coordinate the facilitation of our school’s Racial Justice Talking Circle.

Please join me in welcoming Mahogany Price to the Office of Graduate Student Life.

Sincerely,
Mary Murphy-Phillips
Director of Graduate Student Life
