Dear Colleagues:

The School of Public Health has held continuous accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) since 1981 and is accredited through December 31, 2018.

The school is now preparing for its 2018 CEPH accreditation site visit, and has prepared a detailed preliminary self-study that serves as a candid assessment of the school’s strengths and weaknesses in terms of its performance against the accreditation criteria.  A final version of this report will be submitted to CEPH, whose team of reviewers will validate this report during an extensive site visit in October 2018.

I encourage all alumni, students, community partners, faculty, and staff to provide feedback on the school’s preliminary self-study.

Your detailed feedback will help ensure that the preliminary self-study report accurately reflects the broad scope of the school’s activities.  Your input can shed light on where you think the school is doing well, where you think we need to improve, and offer direction for future initiatives. We are committed to meet the standards outlined by CEPH, address any areas of concern, and make improvements to ensure that we continue to prepare the best public health professionals anywhere.

My thanks to the many faculty, staff, alumni, and students who have contributed their time and expertise to the accreditation process, allowing us to produce a self-study that serves as a thorough assessment of the school’s growth and progress.

Thank you all for what you do for the school.

Warm regards,

Sandro
