Health Law, Policy & Management
The Affordable Care Act has opened new opportunities to reform our country’s complex healthcare system. Meanwhile, gun violence, substance use, epidemics, and health disparities threaten public health and safety. What policies make sense to address these challenges? How can policies be implemented in law or practice?
The Department of Health Law, Policy & Management gives you the knowledge and tools to help meet these challenges. Working with a unique combination of renowned faculty and competency-based educational programs, students track issues from problem identification to policy development to translation into laws and managing implementation. Our graduates enjoy outstanding careers in the public and private sectors, in the healthcare industry and beyond.
