Lisa Sullivan, PhD

Major fields of study include applied biostatistics, longitudinal analysis and clinical trials. Dr. Sullivan works as statistician on the Framingham Heart Study working primarily on the development of health risk appraisal functions, predictors of coronary heart disease. She has published numerous articles with multidisciplinary research teams in HIV/AIDS, prenatal care, emergency medicine, substance abuse and cardiovascular disease.

Ralph D’Agostino, PhD

Major fields of study include multivariate analysis, clinical trials and cardiovascular epidemiology. Dr. D’Agostino is Co-Principal Investigator of the Framingham Heart Study, Director of Data Management and Statistical Analysis. Expert Consultant to the FDA Biometrics and Over-the-Counter Drugs Divisions.

Adrienne Cupples, PhD
Professor of Biostatistics
Major fields of study include statistical genetics, longitudinal analysis, statistical epidemiology. Dr. Cupples is the primary statistician on Framingham Heart Study’s genetics and family studies. She has published over 200 articles involving risk factors for cardiovascular disease, identification of genes for heart disease, genetic etiology and risk prediction of Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s disease.

Howard Cabral, PhD, MPH

Major fields of study include statistical computing and longitudinal analysis. Dr. Cabral has published extensively on pediatric neurodevelopment and physical growth, and in the effects of behavioral interventions in AIDS and substance abuse.

Wayne LaMorte, MD, PhD, MPH
Professor of Epidemiology
Assistant Dean for Education
Boston University School of Public Health
Major fields of study include epidemiological analysis, biomedical research, biophysical chemistry. Dr. LaMorte teaches two courses in the School of Public Health: 1) Introduction to Epidemiology and 2) The Biology of Public Health. He also teaches Evidence-based Medicine in the School of Medicine.

Joseph Massaro, PhD
Professor of Biostatistics
Major fields of study include design and analysis of clinical trials. He has held Director of Statistical Operations position at a major contract research organization, and is currently a Senior Biostatistical Consultant at Harvard Clinical Research Institute. Dr. Massaro is very active with the FDA on clinical trials issues and the coolest dad in the world!

Anita DeStefano, PhD

Associate Professor of Neurology
Major fields of study include genetics analysis of complex traits, diseases or phenotypes that are influenced by both genes and environments. Dr. DeStefano performs genetics analysis on stroke, obesity and neurological disorders on the Framingham Heart Study.
