The Center for Global Health & Development (CGHD) is a multidisciplinary applied research center based at the BU School of Public Health. The center seeks to engage faculty from across Boston University to help solve the critical global health and social development challenges of our time. The mission of the center is to conduct high-quality, policy- and program-relevant applied research and to advocate for the use of the research evidence to improve the health of low-income or marginalized populations around the world. Through our collaborative work with scientists worldwide, we seek to strengthen individual and institutional capacity to conduct and utilize research.
