Mark Hahn quoted in The Falmouth Enterprise

Mark Hahn (Project 4) was quoted in The Falmouth Enterprise on the CRISPR-Cas 9 technique that has advanced the research on specific genes in killifish by Project 4. The technology allows scientists to edit, remove and replace genes to study their functions. Using CRISPR-Cas 9, Dr. Hahn has been able to knock out the AHR in killifish and better understand its role in the evolved resistance to PCBs and other toxic chemicals.
