Immunology Seminar: Communication & Collaboration

On January 29th, as part of the Microbial Pathogenesis, Inflammation, and Immunology Seminar Series at Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Margaret Lowe of UC San Francisco presented “When Worlds Collide: Identification of a Novel Endogenous Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Ligand, Cinnabarinic Acid, that drives Th22 Differentiation”. Dr. Lowe was accompanied by her advisor Dr. Mike McCune. Drs. Lowe and McCune are collaborators with Drs. Schlezinger, Sherr (Project 3) and Hahn (Project 4) on a recent paper in PLoS One (see Recent Publications section below). The visit was a celebration of the collaboration that led to this paper and a chance to communicate it to the BUMC immunology community.
