SAP SRM – Out of Office – How to Create a Substitution Rule
Before you begin:
- Here are situations in which a substitution should be used
- When you will be out of the office
- When you require that someone to perform cart approvals, cart resubmissions or cart rejections on your behalf
- Communicate to the nominee of your substitution that you plan to create a substitution rule
- This is essential since the substitution rule has to be accepted by the receiver in order to be turned on
- The nominee of your substitution rule should be someone comfortable with performing your responsibilities within SAP
- By creating a substitution rule you are handing over your tasks to the assignee for the duration of your planned absence
