Utilizing Templates in SAP
Along with the arrival of SAP on July 1, comes a new, intuitive streamlined ordering process. One feature of this process is the ability to create a shopping cart template for frequently purchased items. This process can be summarized in a few easy steps:
- Under the Procurement tab, click the Place and Manage Orders link located to the far left.
- Under Create Documents located to the far left, click on the Shopping Cart Template link
- Create a Template with frequently used products and click Save As Template
- Go back to the main Procurement screen and click on Public Templates found in the Active Queries box at the top of the screen
- Click on the Refresh button in order to pull up the newly created shopping cart
- Click on the Create Shopping Cart With Reference button
- Locate the template and utilize it to create future shopping carts
