Product and Equipment Demonstration in room L401 from 1:00-3:00PM
- Millipore will demonstrate their SNAP i.d. system used to optimize western blots with increased throughput.
- Eppendorf will demonstrate their Mastercycler, a PCR thermal cycler with minimal evaporation loss.
- Thermo Scientific will demonstrate their NanoDrop spectrophotometers that
use small sample volumes for fast measurement of nucleic acids and proteins.
- BioTek will be demonstrating two brand new instruments that will be released sometime in July 2009. The Epoch microplate spectrophotometer is a scanning microplate spectrophotometer capable of performing a wide variety from direct nucleic acid and protein quantification to standard
ELISA assays. Take3 multi-volume plate reader allows users to read small volumes of samples using standard cuvettes, and BioTek’s patented BIOCELL mini quartz vessels.
