Undergraduate Sociology Association (USA)
The Undergraduate Sociology Association (USA) strives to engage Sociology majors/minors and the BU student community on the themes, concepts, and skills central to the discipline of Sociology. Members of USA are deeply invested in contemplating sociological issues while applying differing sociological perspectives to the social world. Events and meetings sponsored by USA are meant to assist, guide, unify, and captivate all students who are either slightly interested or deeply passionate about sociology. Part of USA’s mission is to grow better ties with the Sociology Department staff as well as the other social sciences at BU, facilitating a more open and closer community. In addition, USA aims to inform the BU student population on the quintessential ideas of sociology and the value of a sociological education.
