Meaghan is a doctoral student in sociology. She received her B.A. in sociology and gender studies from Stonehill College. Her teaching and research interests include urban and community sociology, tourism, culture, gentrification, and gender and sexuality. Her current research project, an ethnography, looks at the relationship between tourism and gentrification in a rural town in Maine.
