BIO AND RESEARCH
Cara Bowman grew up on the South Shore of Boston and graduated in 2005 from Trinity College in Hartford with a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish. After graduating, she worked for two years as a coordinator at a Boston-based non-profit, Citizen Schools, which runs after-school programs throughout the country. She is focused on studying social justice issues within the fields of race and ethnicity, education, economic sociology and consumer society.
