Society, Politics & Culture Workshop
The Society, Politics & Culture Workshop (SPC) at Boston University presents work-in-progress by scholars and students seeking critical feedback on their work. Centered in the Department of Sociology, the Workshop focuses broadly upon social science research and theory on social relations, politics, and meaning-making. Participants include scholars and students at BU and around the Boston area. Papers are circulated in advance; the seminar is devoted to intensive analysis and constructive discussion of the work. Participants are expected to have read the paper in advance. All are welcome. To attend and for copies of the paper, please contact Julian Go (juliango@bu.edu).
