Research:

Enabling indoor and outdoor high data rate density Visible Light Communications (VLC) via LED lighting systems, with a focus on:
1.  Transmitter and receiver design
2.  Modulation design for achieving high data rates in high-power, low bandwidth operation, under peak and average power constraints needed for maintaining quality and functionality of lighting
3.  Modeling and simulation of optical channel, ambient and electrical noise, and communication system
