The administration of the Green Prize for best essay in the field of Romanticism written by a graduate student in the Department of English at Boston University has been taken over by Studies in Romanticism beginning in 2010. The prize honors the first editor of SiR, David Bonnell Green, and is judged by the current editor and other Romanticists in the department. We offer congratulations to two winners this inaugural year: Karen Guendel for “Johnny Foy: Wordsworth’s Imaginative Hero” and Talia Vestri for “Lost Souls and Lonely Siblings: Dislocations of Family in Wordsworth’s Lyrical Ballads.”
