Wellness Graduate Intern

condom leisThis paid, part-time intern position is ideal for MPH, MAT, or EdM candidates. We are seeking applicants who are passionate about student health and wellness, health education and promotion, community outreach, program development, implementation, and evaluation, and health communications.

 

Eligibility Requirements
Enrolled in a graduate program at Boston University

Opportunities Include

  • Planning and facilitating workshops and outreach events on various health-related topics including  safer drinking, stress management, and sexual health
  • Creating, implementing, evaluating, and marketing health education and promotion initiatives
  • Supporting our peer education program
  • Assisting with program administration

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a graduate program at Boston University
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated, reliable, professional, and passionate about primary prevention

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with program facilitation, public speaking
  • Skills in Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to present written information in a visually engaging, professional, and effective manner

Time Commitment
15 hours per week for full academic year 2014 – 2015, beginning in August 2014

Preferred Availability
Two days per week; must be available at least one evening per week
