Kathleen Tuke, RN

I am originally from Brighton, Massachusetts, and have spent the past 15 years as an RN working in New York, Seattle, and Boston. As a certified emergency nurse, the majority of my experience has been in emergency departments taking care of all age groups. In 2009, I was very pleased to be able to join the American College Health Association and the BU family of health professionals. I enjoy providing education and health resources for all of our students and especially to our international students. I understand how difficult it can be to navigate health care when new to Boston and the U.S. and I try to make this as simple as possible. Spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, going to the beach, and traveling with my husband and daughter are some of my favorite pastimes. I am also an advocate for the American Library Association in promoting access to GLBT materials in all libraries. The friendly environment at SHS is a great place to work or to seek health information and treatment.
