Nathan Brewer, MSW, LICSW, Crisis Intervention Counselor
I am originally from a very small town (400!) in Pennsylvania, though Boston has been my home for many years now. After graduating from my undergraduate work at Oberlin College, I came to Boston to begin my work in the helping professions. I settled into working with survivors of intimate partner violence. After receiving my MSW from Simmons College, I continued to do work with trauma survivors in the domestic violence field, as well as working in the field of HIV. I am a licensed clinical social worker and am very excited to be joining the SARP team. I’m passionate about working with survivors of trauma and committed to providing the very best care possible. In my free time I love to play the piano, go long distance running, and watch independent movies.
