Anthony Petro

Petro-150x150Anthony Petro is an assistant professor at Boston University. An alum of Georgia State University and the University of Chicago, he received his PhD in Religion from Princeton University and taught at NYU before joining Boston University’s Department of Religion as Assistant Professor of Modern Christianity. His writings have appeared in a variety of academic and popular forums, including entries for the Encyclopedia of Religion in America and The Columbia Guide to Religion in American History and an article for Religion Dispatches (co-written with Samira K. Mehta) entitled “Big Vampire Love: What’s so Mormon about Twilight?”.
