Student Patent Policy Procedure
Students involved in University
supported research are required to sign a Patent Policy
Agreement. The Student Payroll Office has implemented
the following procedure in order to meet this requirement.
Supervisors hiring new students (hourly, piecemeal,
or monthly paid) into Job Code 55, 56 and 57 research
positions must: (1) complete the Patent Mail Code field
on the Student Employee Authorization (SEA), and (2)
