Math Tutoring Program

Boston University hires Work-Study students to provide math tutoring for middle school and high school students in the Boston public schools.

Current Work-Study Job Opportunity:

Provide in-class or after-school math tutoring for Boston public school students in grades 6 to 12 in small groups or one-on-one. Tutors must be proficient in basic high school math, including algebra and geometry, and have the ability to explain math operations. Previous work with early adolescents and ability to speak Spanish is helpful. Tutors must work a minimum of six hours per week. Pay rate is $10.25 per hour.
