After School

The Burke Complex houses four elementary schools. BUILD tutors work in the after-school program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Tutors are assigned to first through fourth grade classrooms and work alongside teachers with children who need additional support in literacy. Each class consists of one teacher and up to eight children. Tutors help students in literacy and ESL strategies.

Hours: 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (travel time included)

Directions: BUILD provides transportation to this site on all three days of operation.
